This is the first mission to complete in the simulator; it focuses on the skills that future pilots need to consolidate and practice regularly. Takeoff and landing are the core elements of piloting that no successful UAV mission is possible without.

Description

Piloting requires learning at least the most basic maneuvers first. Those include takeoff and landing. This mission focuses on takeoff and landing in a variety of conditions on multiple different UAV models based on real-world machines.

To mimic a broader variety of situations, the mission can be configured for different environmental conditions to simulate takeoff and landing in daylight and at night, in wind and in fog.

Various drone types are available, including industrial, agricultural, and even training-only models.
