UAVProf Drone Simulator:
Base version
Basic simulator license for training basic maneuvers in manual and autonomous flight
MoreEnvironmental conditions
Wind is a must-learn-to-handle for any aspiring UAV operator. Learn how to pilot a drone during basic maneuvers and flight in wind, whether it is manual or autonomous flight.
Avoiding accidents means knowing how the wind can affect UAV flight. Wind is notorious for causing problems in aviation, which is why its effects on UAVs are subject to ongoing research. To become a successful UAV pilot, each student must learn to handle wind, both in manually controlled and autonomous flight. Wind is an environmental condition present in many missions, among other reasons, to help pilots practice basic maneuvers: roll and yaw, pitch, takeoff and landing. Response to wind differs from UAV to UAV. Depending on the license, students can try and test different UAVs in bad weather without causing any damage or financial loss.
