Environmental conditions

Daylight

A UAV pilot must be able to work under any conditions that permit takeoff. Most of the time, UAVs fly in broad daylight. Thus, it is the baseline condition for many missions and races, for more convenient learning.

Day

Description

Day

Most UAV flights, whether professional or amateur-piloted, take place during the day. The drone must be in line of sight. All licenses for autonomous or manual flight training have Daylight as an environmental condition. Most racing, industrial, real-world, or baseline missions focus on UAV flight in daylight, to help you learn or improve piloting skills. Once the pilot knows how to fly a drone in daylight and do the basic maneuvers in manual and autonomous flight, they can proceed to piloting an UAV in a different setting.
